ABOUT US


Our Mission

The mission of CC-CISM is the advancement of educational and direct support programs focused on critical incident stress management for emergency service personnel.


Organizational Profile

The CC-CISM team is made up of volunteers from the mental health and the emergency services professions. Peers from Law Enforcement, Fire Service, and Emergency Medical Services are all represented on the CC-CISM team. The unique collaboration between skilled peers and mental health professionals is the foundation of the organization and produces a high level of integrity and acceptance within the emergency services community.

VOLUNTEERING
The Cuyahoga County CISM team requires that all prospective peer support team members attend a two-day basic training class following the Mitchell Model.

Volunteers are also needed for administrative, clerical, marketing and other miscellaneous duties.

FUNDRAISING
Donations

The Cuyahoga County CISM team is a 501(c)(3) public charity, non-profit organization. We rely on the donations of generous people such as yourself.

We are not affiliated with any governmental agency nor do we receive insurance reimbursement for our services.
